Kiker PTA Board Nominations
Nominations are now open for the 2024-2025 Kiker PTA board. We have open positions to fill for next year and we are looking for individuals that are interested in serving on the Kiker PTA board. No experience is necessary! We have positions open to suit many different interests. All that is needed is the willingness to serve and the desire to help PTA realize their mission of helping Kiker Comets Soar to Success!
GMS Tiger Camp 2024
We are excited to meet our incoming 6th graders this summer at our 2-day transition camp at GMS! Campers will have different activities with teachers and volunteer student “counselors” over 2 days. The purpose of this camp is for our new tigers to make some friends, get a feel for the building, meet some 6th grade teachers, and feel comfortable and confident about coming to Gorzycki next fall.

Early Learning Day
To increase Pre-K and kindergarten enrollment and support families with registration, elementary campuses will host a districtwide Early Learning Day on April 5. Please save this date and share with your families and spread the word in the community.
How to Report a Student Absence
In the event that your child will be missing school, please follow these steps: 1) Email both your child's teacher and Ms. Amy McGovern, our registrar. Amy.mcgovern@austinisd.org 2) Please include your child's first and last name
