What is Gifts of Time and Virtual Auction?
These are "gifts" of time donated by Kiker teachers and staff for a special online auction to help raise money for the school's annual fundraising efforts.
What Does the Money Raised During This Fundraiser Go Toward?
The money raised will ensure that Kiker Elementary continues as a district leader in student achievement. Money raised from the Gifts of Time fundraiser will provide funding for support personnel that will directly impact every student here at Bernice Kiker Elementary. It will also be used to fund subscriptions for students such as IXL and Reflex Math.
In the past, funds have also helped create and support a 21st century digital environment, Reading Specialists, and other student support systems.
When is the Gifts of Time Auction and Virtual Auction?
Bidding begins Friday, February 14, 2025 at 9:00 AM
Bidding ends Monday, February 17, 2025 at 8:00 PM
How do I bid on these items?
Register as a bidder by clicking the "Register" button on the Home Page. Once the auction opens on February 14th at 9:00 AM, go online and start bidding!
How does Buy-A-Spot work?
A few items are Buy-a-Spot items. This is not the traditional bidding process. You do not have an option to out bid the previous person on these items. The price is set and these items go to the first who sign up, so go online early to grab a spot.
How do I know if I've won?
After the Auction closes at 8:00 PM on Monday, February 17th, all the winning bidders are determined and notified by an email invoice within 24 hours.
What if I just want to give a monetary donation?
Click on the "Donation Pledge" tab to pledge a monetary donation. Donations can NOT be paid online. Cash or check must be submitted. See next section for payment details.
How do I pay?
Send or drop off your payment in an envelope at Kiker. Please put the following on the envelope:
Auction
Child's Name
Teacher's Name
Bidder Number
ALL PAYMENTS ARE CASH OR CHECK ONLY.
NO ONLINE PAYMENTS OR CREDIT CARDS ARE ACCEPTED.
Checks should be made out to Kiker Elementary.
Payment must be made prior to your child's participation in any gifts of time that you have won.
All payments are due by 3:00 pm Wednesday, March 5, 2025
